Indian Ceramics 2012 sells out

25 January 2012

With just under 2 months to go until the curtain lifts on the 7th Indian Ceramics exhibition in Ahmedabad, Gujarat (20-22 March), the organisers Gattaca Communications have announced that all the space for this year’s expanded event has been sold, and the event, for the third year running, is now completely sold out.

“It seems that in spite of recession biting across Europe, India is presenting itself as a beacon of hope. Not only is the domestic industry within the country providing a great outlet for technology and material suppliers, but the wider Asian continent now sees India as a place to get business done. Increasingly, India is offering itself as an alternative meeting place for a global industry, and that is very exciting for visitors and exhibitors alike” says Derek Burston, exhibition director.

“We do have some options for companies wishing to take outdoor, non-air conditioned space” Burston adds, “but with temperatures in the 30s, this can be a tough experience. We will, however, provide air cooling units for those companies who might wish to take advantage of that opportunity”.

With just under 4,000 visitors recorded in 2011, expectation is high.

“India is a cost effective way to visit an exhibition” Burston comments; “the hotels are good value, you see all the companies – from a technical perspective – that you could spend much more money travelling to other parts of the World to see at other exhibitions, and also you have the advantage of being located right at the heart of one of the most vibrant ceramics manufacturing regions on the planet” he concludes.

Indian Ceramics 2012: YOUR chance to network with the World’s leading suppliers AND fastest growing manufacturing community.

The event runs 20-22 March, 2012; University Exhibition Centre, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
