Asias most exciting and expanding ceramics
show has pushed through all barriers as it approaches its
opening in just 5 weeks time.
This is the largest dedicated ceramics show weve
ever seen in India, and indeed is probably the largest concentration
of suppliers anywhere outside China says Kevin Hudson,
Exhibition Director.
With over 110 exhibitors so far, the remaining five
weeks will undoubtedly see the remaining 3 or 4 spaces snapped
up. India and the region is where the action is, and that
is being reflected in the demand for space he states.
People have liked this show because it is right in
the heart of the industry, and means that over 3 days there
can be a real intensity. Some shows can be up to 5 days,
and these can result in many exhibitors becoming too bored.
When you consider this is meant to be regional ,
the fact that we have so many companies on board is a clear
indication of where the industrys technology and material
suppliers view the future to be. Whilst centralised European
shows will always have a place, there is no doubt that the
technology sector wants to be presented to the industry,
rather than expect the industry to come to it he adds.
A considerable presence from Germany, Italy, Spain,
the UK, China and India amongst others, means we are geographically
diverse too, meaning that there is a great chance for manufacturers
to compare goods and services from around the World, rather
than from one country in particular states Hudson.
This year will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone
at the show, and no doubt the competition to be seen and
heard will be intense. Certainly this will make for an exhibition
with great dialogue from all parties, and it will be interesting
to see how companies large and small gear themselves during
the event to make the most of the opportunities that will
be available he concludes.
