Indian Ceramics Asia concluded it’s 16 th edition on 8 April – back in its physical avatar at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar. The event was inaugurated on 6th April by the chief guest Shri. Jagdishbhai Ishwarbhai Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Industries, Gandhinagar, Government of Gujarat.
Continuing the bounce back sentiment, the business community enthusiastically took part; where 100+ companies from 11 countries including Bangladesh, China, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, UK and United Arab Emirates; displayed their innovative solutions to 6440 visitors from across the globe.
This year’s India Ceramics Asia has received tremendous advocacy and support from multiple Trade Associations such as, Indian Ceramic Society (InCerS), Morbi Ceramic Manufacturers Association (MCA), The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), The Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for the Ceramics Industry (ACIMAC), Indian Council of Ceramic Tiles & Sanitary ware (ICCTAS) to name a few.
Shri Brijesh Bhai Merja, Minister of State, Labour, Skill Development, Employment, Panchayat, Rural Housing and Rural Development, Govt. of Gujarat highlighted; “Since Morbi is the hub of ceramic industry, Govt. of Gujarat has proposed a budget of 400 crores to build an International Ceramic Park; thereby boosting the ceramic manufacturing companies in the region”.
Dr. Lalit Kumar Sharma, President, Indian Ceramic Society, was delighted with the response; “We congratulate the organizers of Indian Ceramics Asia; as it was a great initiative and our members truly benefitted by the presence of leading ceramic raw material and machinery brands from across the globe. We really look forward to once again partner in the next edition as we anticipate more business opportunities for the stakeholders involved”
